How much does each entry cost?

AIGA members pay $25 per entry until 1/26/14
Non-members pay $50 per entry until 1/26/14
All entrants pay a $10 late fee per entry after 1/26/14
Online registration closes at midnight CST 2/09/14; entries postmarked after 2/09/14 will not be accepted.

What if I want to submit something I designed several years ago?

Qualifying entries must have been printed, published or aired on or after January 1, 2012.

What if I’m not sure which category my work belongs in?

We understand that an entry might cross over several categories. You can select the category in which you think your entry fits most accurately in terms of its purpose, or you can enter the same piece in more than one category. Please be aware that you’ll be required to pay a separate fee for submitting to each category, even if the entry is the same.

What if I want to enter the same piece in more than one category?

If you want an entry to be judged in more than one category, provide a separate sample of the piece with the corresponding entry forms and entry fee for each category in which you want the piece to be judged.

What if I don’t make the January 26th deadline?

You can still enter after the January 26th deadline; entries postmarked after this date will incur an additional late fee of $10 per entry. Online registration will close after midnight on February 9, 2014 (entries must be postmarked by 2/09/14; work will not be accepted after this date).

What are the file requirements for uploading entries?

Uploading Images: 800K max size (should be a jpeg at 72 dpi, no larger than 800 pixels squared)
Title accordingly: LastName_FirstName_1.jpg

What do I need to mail after I register?

Print the form for all entries after you register.
Mail original work and a CD/DVD with hi-res .pdf and/or .eps file with the form to:

Logos: Submit logos printed in color on an 8 1/2 x 11-inch sheet and mounted on one-ply white board, with the objective noted on the lower-right corner (e.g., “identity for bakery,” “identity for record label”).

Website: If you are submitting a website, please include the URL if available, 4 to 6 images as letter-size color printouts and as a CD/DVD.

Other pieces: All other entries may be entered in original form.

Note: Variations of one entry (e.g., packaging for different flavors or sizes of same product) are considered a single entry.

How will I find out if my work is chosen to be in The Texas Show?

Accepted entrants into The Texas Show will be notified in March. We’ll want to print your work in the Texas Show Catalog, so we’ll get the high resolution version of your pieces at that time. In addition to your fancy award, you will also receive the 2014 Texas Show Catalog on us! It’s the least we could do, really. The list of the jury’s selections will be posted online in April.
